From July 31 to August 2, Guatemalan Coffees participated on the 2007 Convention and Exhibition of the Specialty Coffee Association of Japan (SCAJ).
In the Big Sight convention center, where the activity took
place, around 10,000 people from around the world, whom are
related to specialty coffees, gathered to learn about new products
and services, get to know more about coffee, learn and share
knowledge.
Attendees, mostly Japanese, had
the opportunity to visit Guatemalan Coffees booth, where
they could taste our eight
regional coffees: Acatenango
Valley, Antigua Coffee, Traditional Atitlán, Rainforest
Cobán,
Fraijanes Plateau, Highland Huehue, New Oriente and Volcanic
San Marcos.
Due to the importance of Japan as
market of Guatemalan Coffees, we look forward to get Japanese
consumers informed about the quality behind our beans by
providing them informative material. Thus,
interested visitors received a copy of the Coffee
Atlas 2007 / 2008,
which was translated to Japanese language for easier reading
and comprehension.
