Finca La Providencia II, is located in San Pedro Necta, Huehuetenango, a traditional coffee region. It’s a high altitude farm, 1,321 mts above sea level. Annual precipitation ranges are 1,500 mm.
20 years ago Anzueto family bought a beautiful coffee farm: La Providencia II, located in Huehuetenango, a traditional coffee region. Actually, the second generation continues with family tradition, producing an exceptional coffee.
The coffee plantation is about 130.5 has in extension, 60% catuai, 35% caturra and 5% pacamara. During crop 2006-2007, the farm produced an average of 1,815.7 - 69 kgs bags. La Providencia II is blessed with an extraordinary microclimate and a franc-arcilloso soil.
The coffee is processed in the wet mill at the farm; then, beans are sun dried during one day in the patios and after, one or two days in the drier machines at 55º C. At the farm we are really concerned about environment, we have a water treatment plant to process all the water used in the wet mill.
