San Antonio de Esquipulas y Anexos, is located in the heart of highlands of Nim Jul, which it means Big Jewel, La Democracia, Huehuetenango. The property stands at 1,480 to 2,000 meters above sea level. The current owner is Mr. Francisco Ovalle Méndez, who produces environmental friendly quality coffee.

San Antonio de Esquipulas y Anexos, was founded in January 1965, and is administrate for his owner and his sons, who are the second generation as coffee producers. Some employees at the farm, works in the property since the beginning.

At the farm they know the importance of enjoy a good cup of coffee, but also know the importance for the local economy and environment.

The growing practices are important to produce our coffee; we take care from the seed to the harvest moment. In the plantation we do not use pesticides; we found the perfect balance between pests and their natural enemies.

We practice environmental friendly techniques to growth our coffee, such as practices to prevent soil degradation and the use of organic material produce by shade trees. In the farm we use a wet mill to process the coffee and it is dry in the patios.
