ASUVIM is located in Paquip, Santa Clara la Laguna, Sololá and produce high quality organic coffee according to sustainable production standards and respecting the knowledge and culture of our members.

Coffee plantation begins at 1900 meters above sea level. The microclimate has the following characteristics: annual precipitations are 1800 mm per year and temperature goes from 13 º to 18º C.

ASUVIM was established on 1999 as an initiative of small coffee growers group of the area. The main objective of the Association is work together to produce and commercialize high quality organic coffee and contribute to preserve one of the most beautiful lakes in the world.

ASUVIM works with two production systems: organic and Rainforest Alliance; coffee plantation is also certified by Fairtrade. The quality of our coffee is a combination of unique microclimate, rich volcanic soils and hard work of our members.

We take care of quality in the whole process, from the seed to the warehouse. At the farm we harvest the best beans that are processed in an ecologic wet mill, with water recirculation; then coffee is sun dry. We are respectful with our environment; we treat the water and recycle coffee pulp to produce organic fertilizer.

ASUVIM also offers a coffee tour. The visitors can practice horse riding, learn more about coffee process, enjoy the view of incredible mountains, birds, beautiful rivers and learn from local stories told by our tourist guides.
