The Conference will bring together coffee growers, representatives from government, the private sector and international agencies and will provide a unique opportunity to address the challenges of world coffee supply and demand, coffee development sector and sustainability. The Conference will be followed by the 104th Session of the International Coffee Council and other ICO meetings which will take place from March 1 to 4. The venue for this event is the Westin Camino Real Guatemala, Convention Centre.
Guatemalan Coffees will have a booth on the exhibition area where visitor can get a taste our eight regional coffees: Acatenango Valley, Antigua Coffee, Traditional Atitlán, Rainforest Cobán, Fraijanes Plateau, Highland Huehue, New Oriente and Volcanic San Marcos. We will also offer a full body espresso blend featuring Antigua and Acatenango coffees, with delicate acidity, sweet with chocolate and fruit-like notes.
Anacafé in celebration of its 50th anniversary will present the book "Inspired by Coffee," a unique collection of images that capture the essence of Guatemalan coffee production from the eye of renown photographers from around the World.
The revenue from the sellings of the book will go to the Coffee Foundation for Rural Development (Funcafé) social programs, and its production is sponsored by Japan Suntory Company.
