The farm is located inside the Natural Region of the volcanic grounds, at the mountain skirts near to the volcanic complex of Acatenango and Fuego. It is characterized by a warm dry climate without a well-defined cold season, cloudiness, high humidity and temperatures ranging between 10 and 30 degrees. The annual precipitations exceed the 4,000 millimeters distributed and presents around all year long.

With a total area of 493 hectares, the farm is divided in 280 hectares destined to coffee growth and the remaining 113 hectares to cypress reforestation an d natural forest. The vast coffee plantation zone is located between 1,375 and 1,680 meters above the sea level, within hills and wavy grounds. The soil is drained and developed over volcanic ashes, due to continuous eruptions of the Fuego volcano. This layer of volcanic sand is one of the main characteristics of the soil. The texture of the soil is upper layer is sandy grainy and has a dark color.

The farm has the rainforest Alliance certification, fulfilling all the requirements of the Sustainable Agriculture Network.
